An undergraduate Math class offered at Stern is seeking a TF for the Spring term to help support the faculty member. The course covers Calculus with a focus on its applicability to business. The TF will not be attending any classes and there will be no commitment for in person work. The faculty member will meet with the TF via Zoom when needed. Applicants for the role who have taken all Calc I-II-III or all of MFE I-II-III courses would be preferable but it is not required for the role. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to helping the faculty member with their Brightspace classroom and course materials, assisting with grading (solutions will be provided to the TF for all assessments), and supporting the use of Gradescope. If the applicant is familiar with grading on Gradescope that would be a plus but is not required. Gain experience working with an instructor in supporting a Calculus class focused on business. We will consider applications on a rolling basis. Please send resume and letter of introduction to Paula Goldfarb (psteisel@stern.nyu.edu) with the subject line "Calculus TF".
Paula Goldfarb, psteisel@stern.nyu.edu
